De video-intercom is het element dat binnen het gebouw wordt geplaatst, daarom wordt het ook een binnenpost genoemd, en waarmee oproepen van bezoekers naar het gebouwpersoneel kunnen worden ontvangen.
Dit model heeft een 7" touchscreen voor eenvoudige bediening door de gebruiker.
De 2 draadapparatuur communiceert en wordt gevoed door conventionele koperen kabels (draden genoemd) en verdelers, waardoor het mogelijk is om conventionele installaties te hergebruiken die dit type bedrading al hebben.
Met de mobiele applicatie Hik-Connect kan de eindgebruiker vanaf elke locatie oproepen ontvangen, de deur openen of live de camera van het paneel bekijken.
