De BX7B serie MCB's is ontworpen om elektrische laagspanningsinstallaties te beschermen tegen overbelasting en kortsluiting. Voldoet aan de internationale IEC/EN 60898-1, norm die algemeen erkende veiligheids- en prestatienormen garandeert in huishoudelijke, commerciële en licht industriële toepassingen.
Een van de voordelen is de veelzijdigheid en compatibiliteit: verkrijgbaar in twee stroomwaarden en in 2 of 4 poolversies, waardoor ze bruikbaar zijn in zowel eenfasige als driefasige circuits. De installatie is eenvoudig op een standaard DIN-rail met aansluitingen aan de boven- of onderkant en goede mechanische en thermische ondersteuning voor typische binnenomstandigheden..
