The SMA EV Charger 22 is an AC charging station for PV-optimized charging of electric vehicles in combination with the Sunny Home Manager 2.0. The load capacity can be set from 1.3 to 22 kW; Automatic switchover between single-phase and three-phase effect ensures that solar energy is used efficiently, even with a low PV power. The boost function allows single-phase loading with a power to combine 7.4 kW by combining grid and solar energy. Power failure protection and integrated DC error current monitoring (6 mA) guarantee safe operation. An integrated mid-conform energy meter makes transparent registration of consumption possible. Monitoring takes place via SMA Smart Connected in it SMA Sunny Portal, while operation and visualization are provided by the SMA Energy app. Thanks to the permanently connected type 2 charging cable, the charging station is compatible with usual electric vehicles.
