An access control device is a professional element for securing fences and ports. They are located on safe and hidden places, which means that the readers can be connected, which are placed at the visible place of the installation and the user who wants to identify, identify, as well as the connection to the electronic locks that are activated if the user gets access.
This controller supports readers based on the Wiegand protocol, which means that each reader can be connected directly to the controller. It has 2 readers to go inside and outside at every door and supports biometric readers that are connected via RS485 and enable connection via bus (cascaders). By supporting RS485, it also supports OSDP on the same connector. The latter can be adjusted in the configuration and allows up to 2 readers via this method.
This model has a 1 relay output, configurable as dry contact (without voltage).
With the help of an access controller it is possible to protect certain functions, such as opening all doors when a fire signal is received or activating an alarm when a forced door is detected. Thanks to the inputs and outputs, it is possible to manage these functions in a simpler manner.
Advanced configurable functions: Anti-pass-back technology (don't let anyone like when he / she is already in).
The built-in software from the Atlas Series is used to configure users, timetables and access groups, as well as special functions, opening hours of relays or readers readers.
