A stand-alone access control device is a combination of a controller and a reader in one device: can identify users, decide whether or not they have access to the installation and operate the electronic lock via its relay.

This equipment allows identification via cards or keychains with 125 kHz RFID EM technology, as well as biometric fingerprints.
