The DS-3T0510HP-e / HS is a robust industrial switch designed to act as a confidential point in plants with critical safety. The distinctive feature is the implementation of the IEEE standard 802.3BT (HI-POE) on the first two ports, allowing devices with a very high power consumption, such as motorized PTZ-DOMA cameras or Laser lighting systems can be supplied with power, while the remaining 6 ports provide standard POE + for fixed cameras. With the 2 additional SFP ports you can create a fiber optic ring or a long-distance back bone compound, so that the Gigabit video stream is not affected by distances of more than 100 meters.
The reliability of the system is based on smart functions that are integrated directly into the hardware. The Poe WatchDog mode proactively checks the status of the connected devices; If it is determined that a camera will no longer respond, the power supply to the port is automatically interrupted and restored. In addition, via physical switches you can switch on the Long Range mode to reach distances up to 300 meters, or Port Isolation to segment the traffic. All this is housed in a metal case with passive cooling, suitable for DIN rail mounting, which is resistant to power peaks and environmental conditions in which a standard switch it would go.
