The GT SAT GT DMS1WBT is a multiswitch with 2 inputs that is intended to connect a Wideband LNB. This makes it possible to i.p.v. With 4 cables but with 2 cables to go to the LNB, this saves in the installation costs because less coaxial cable is required.
This multiswitch is equipped with the DCSS / unicable standard, which means that it can provide multiple receivers with satellite and terrestrial signal over one coaxial cable. With this multiswitch, 24 user bands can be used and this means that 24 receivers can be connected to a single coaxial cable.
In Static Mode, the mode in which the multiswitch is programmed with the programmer Gt-dc2 or with the software dconfigurator® From GT-SAT, up to 32 transponders can be passed on to a coaxial cable.
With this GT DMS1WBT Multiswitch it is very easy to connect a large number of users. If 24 receivers are not sufficient, the system can be very easily expanded by placing a number of these multiswitches, they are cascadable.
DCSS means "Digital Channel Stacking Switch" - it converts received SAT signals to "User tables"
The converted transponders are combined / sent on a single coaxial cable to the receiver (s).
Communication between the DCSS multiswitches and the connected receivers is done via a specific protocol (EN50494 Unicable I & EN50607 unicable II) - using DiSEQC commands.
