The new series of TRIAX DSCR multiswitches are available with 4, 8 or 12 SCR / Legacy outputs. They are equipped with 4 inputs and 4 cascade outputs for linking multiple multiswitches and can handle 1 quattro LNB for 1 satellite position or 2 Wideband LNBs to link 2 positions to the Multiswitch. The DSCR Multiswitches are equipped with a DC input, making it also to be used as stand-alone multiswitches.
In addition to the satellite inputs, there is also a DVB-T input that can be weakened 0-20 dB. The terrestrial effect supports all services that work between 47 - 790 MHz, including terrestrial TV, DAB and FM.
All outputs on the multiswitches can be used as Legacy or SKY Q outputs, this is detected by the multiswitch itself and does not have to be indicated on the multiswitch itself. In addition, all outputs are independent and the installation can be a combination of legacy and DSCR connections.
DSCR means "Digital Satellite Cable Router" - it converts received SAT signals to "User tables"
The converted transponders are combined / sent on a single coaxial cable to the receiver (s).
Communication between the DSCR multiswitches and the connected receivers is done via a specific protocol (EN50494 Unicable I & EN50607 unicable II) - using DiSEQC commands.
Note: We recommend all DSCR multiswitches from Triax To provide a diet.
