8 MW Optical Transmitter
The Polytron OT 108 DFB is an optical transmitter with a Distributed Feedback Laser (DFB). This channel generates a capacity of 8 MW. Adjusting this optical transmitter is done via the built-in graphic LCD screen.
The OT 108 DFB can be used with a heading. For example, this headend puts satellite signals that it receives to to DVB-C or DVB-T. The optical transmitter then converts the electrical signals to optical signals to distribute them via fiberglass.
