SCR Multiswitch

SCR means "Satellite Channel Router" - it converts Sat signals to "User tires".

The converted transponders are combined sent on a single coaxial cable to the receiver (s).

Communication between the SCR multiswitches and the LNB is done via a specific protocol (EN50494 Unicable I & EN50607 Unicable II) - using DiSEQC commands.

The advantage of SCR in collaboration with a Triax TDCH is that 4 inputs can offer satellite positions that can each receive 32 user bands on the built-in SCR Multiswitch, so that you can receive a lot of channels per position without having to offer all 4 polarizations to a standard multiswitch.
